Winter Institute in Troy January 25-28

Helping Our New Members

Happy 2022 from your MME Advocacy Committee. As we start a new year, the Advocacy Committee will be asking each of you to consider joining us in building upon our success. The committee is working to compile a library of resources for managers to use when talking to local groups about the council-manager form of government. The goal is to make this information available to municipal managers and the public via the MME website. Read more.

It’s that time of the year to add your voice to an MME committee. If you'd like to serve on one of the committees, please let us know no later than January 18, 2022. ICMA Midwest Leadership Institute Set
The ICMA’s Midwest Leadership Institute is happening in Northern Illinois in April 2022. The event will have an extensive four-and-a-half-day program designed to address the challenges facing local government professionals. Attendees will learn the concepts needed to thrive in an increasingly complex world from two experienced local government professionals and two organizational psychiatrists who have served the profession for more than 40 years.
