As a college football official, it is disappointing to see that the fall football season has been canceled. In fact, my wife is quite upset that I will be home this fall for the first time since 1996. Though many of us want to return to "normal," the "virtual" year of 2020 continues and will require us to be flexible and patient in order to persevere through it. Read more.

Due to COVID-19, the Professional Development Committee presented a virtual Summer Workshop that was free to MME members. Sessions are available on the MME website. The prospect of holding in-person events seems unlikely for the foreseeable future, so the committee is looking for member input on how to present the 2021 Winter Institute. Read more.

The NextGen Committee has also been hampered by COVID-19 in hosting in-person events. We're looking into holding a virtual social meet up in the near future. Also, we are pleased that we've been able to place fellows in the cities of Wayland and Plymouth. Read more.
